We live in a time where information has never been more accessible.
At any given moment, we can open an app and learn a new skill, consume a new idea, follow a new trend, or hear another person’s opinion about how we should live our lives.
On the surface, that sounds like progress. Yet despite having access to more information than any generation before us, many people feel overwhelmed, distracted, disconnected, and unsure of what to do next. I’ve felt that way myself.
Not because I lacked information. Not because I lacked opportunities. But because I lacked space.
Space to think. Space to reflect. Space to listen.
Space to process what I was learning and determine what actually mattered.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work on incredible projects. I’ve built brands, directed campaigns, designed experiences, launched products, and helped bring ideas to life for organizations, artists, entrepreneurs, and communities.
Creativity has opened doors I never imagined. But some of the most important lessons I’ve learned didn’t happen in a boardroom. They didn’t happen during a client presentation.
They didn’t happen while receiving an award. They happened during quiet moments. A morning walk.
A page in a journal. A conversation with my wife. Time spent with my children.
A difficult season that forced me to slow down and reevaluate what truly mattered. I’ve come to realize that growth often happens in the moments that don’t get posted online. The world celebrates outcomes.
But transformation usually happens in private. It’s built through reflection. Consistency.
Faith. Patience. And a willingness to pay attention.
The problem is that most of us don’t give ourselves enough opportunities to do that. We move from task to task. Notification to notification.
Meeting to meeting. Content piece to content piece. Without ever stopping long enough to ask ourselves whether we’re moving in the right direction.
That’s one of the reasons I started BE> Weekly. I didn’t want to create more noise. The internet already has enough of that.
I wanted to create a place for reflection. A place where ideas could breathe. A place where growth wasn’t measured by likes, views, or engagement, but by whether the content encouraged someone to take a meaningful step forward in their life.
Each week I’ll share lessons, observations, stories, and insights from my journey as a creative director, entrepreneur, husband, father, and lifelong student of growth. Some weeks will focus on creativity. Some on business.
Some on faith. Some on relationships. Some on personal development.
But all of them will point back to the same idea. Growth is possible. No matter where you are.
No matter where you’ve been. No matter how far you still have to go. My goal isn’t to position myself as an expert who has everything figured out.
The truth is, I’m still learning too. Still growing. Still making mistakes.
Still becoming. But I’ve learned that growth becomes more meaningful when it’s shared. That’s what BE> Weekly is about.
Not perfection. Not performance. Progress.
One idea. One reflection. One step forward at a time.
If you’re here reading this, thank you. I hope these weekly letters encourage you to slow down, think deeper, live more intentionally, and continue becoming the person you’re capable of becoming. That’s what I’m trying to do too.
And I’m grateful to have you along for the journey.
